Ignore Your Haters

AUTHOR: Gary Fishman

In Song of Solomon chapter 5 the bride is desperately seeking for the bridegroom.

In 5:7 the bride proclaims that:
The watchmen who went about the city found me.
They struck me, they wounded me;
The keepers of the walls Took my veil away from me.

Symbolically the watchmen represent church leaders who are called to keep watch over the flock and according to Hebrews 13:7 they are to “keep watch over your souls.”

When the leaders saw her fire and passion for the presence of the bridegroom they beat her and removed her veil. In modern terms many in church who burn for the presence and glory of Jesus the bridegroom are ridiculed, mocked told they are unbalanced and even marked as a flake. Religion hates a heart that burns for God.

The bride didn’t give in to rejection or give up or blame the bridegroom. Instead she proclaimed: “If you find my beloved, tell him I am lovesick!”

She refused to be defined by the spiritual abuse or allow it to put a damper on her flaming passion.

Don’t allow the words of religious leaders or wrong treatment at the hands of Gods people discourage your desire to live out all God has ordained for you as his royal child and don’t be afraid to proclaim it in spite of the haters.

We are the gateway to the heart of Jesus

AUTHOR: Gary Fishman

I have been looking at snippets in the Song of Solomon which is a love story between King Solomon and his bride the Shulamite woman, which on a greater level paints a picture of the love relationship we have with Jesus as the Heavenly Bridegroom.

In Song of Solomon 6:1 the friends of the bride approach her to question her:
Where has your beloved gone,
most beautiful of women?
Which way did your beloved turn,
that we may look for him with you?

Her friends had seen the passion and deep love of the bride for the King and they now seek to find him too. When people see the fire in your heart, and the depth of desire and joy you walk in, as Romans 11:14 states you will provoke others to jealousy.

The greatest form of evangelism is to allow others to see and experience Jesus through you. You are Heavens portal. Its wonderful to present Jesus to people with words but a heart overflowing with peace, desire, excitement and radical devotion will cause others to feel a spark inside of them.

Don’t just point people to Heaven’s door but instead you become Heaven’s door, the gateway to the heart of Jesus the Bridegroom.

Dream Interpretation

AUTHOR: Gary Fishman

It is impossible to read through the Bible and not notice the fact that God speaks through dreams. Throughout the Old and New Testaments, the Lord used dreams to communicate His message, both to believers and non-believers. The purpose of this manual is to equip you in the area of dream interpretation so that God’s messages will not fall by the wayside. Just think for a moment about all of the divine revelation that is lost because the body of Christ is so lacking in knowledge when it comes to dreams.

The 2nd chapter of Acts tells us that the last days would be marked by a great increase of prophetic revelation, including dreams and visions. We need, as the people of God, to step boldly into what the Lord desires to do on the Earth in our day. When Jesus speaks to us in any manner we can not be content with missing even a single word. If we are to be effective and fruitful in our lives and ministries we have got to become attuned to His voice. The Church has tried for too long to get by with human wisdom and the traditions of men. It is time that we begin to get our strategies and blueprints directly from the One who created the heavens and the Earth. The Lord desires to speak to our hearts and minds so that we can fulfill the destinies and plans that He has designed for us.

I challenge you to become fully equipped to discern God’s voice as He speaks into your life. In so doing you will also place yourself into the position of learning to speak prophetically to others. Just as with any other ministry, the more you practice and persevere the more adept you will become. Although some might ultimately be more gifted than others in dream interpretation, I believe that all of God’s children can develop basic dream interpretation skills in partnership with the Holy Spirit. Acts 2 gives us the qualifications for those people who can receive and speak out prophetic revelation:

In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. (Acts 2:17, 18)

I pray that the Lord will help you as you learn to unlock the door of understanding and revelation, which is the inheritance of all God’s beloved children. (Ephesians 1:17, 18)
